We offer many continuing education classes for our employees and local health care professionals.  These courses require “hands-on” involvement and can only be taken in the classroom setting. Please contact Rianna Xavier to enroll in any class or use the on-line Class Registration form.

Emergency Medical Technician I (EMTI)
Class are held each January and August.  The cost of the EMT course is $500 which includes books.  To enroll in the next class, contact riannax@riggsambulance.com.  To view more information on the EMT or other course we offer, click on the links below:

  • Training Center Handbook

    • CPR Classes (Cardio Pulmonary Resusciation) classes are availabe at our Training Center.  American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR (required for all healthcare providers) is $50 and our Heartsaver CPR (which includes CPR, AED and First Aid) is $60. Each class is provided every other week as displayed on the training calendar below.

    AMLS, ACLS, PEPP & ITLS Classes
    These classes are $200 each

    ** In the above schedule, for blocks where there are two dates listed, the option is to either take Day 2 of the course following Day 1, or take Day 2 on the same day of the week (i.e. both Mondays) on the following week.
