Employment Policies
To work as an EMT or Paramedic, you must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid EMT or EMT-P certification, a valid California Drivers License (in good standing), and a valid CPR or ACLS certification. To be employed in the Dispatch center, you must be 18 years of age or older.
