Rotating Schedule
RIGGS offers two type of schedules, a 12/42 and a 24/48. Our 12/42 schedule offers 12 hours shifts with every other weekend off and our 24 hour schedule has two 24 hour shifts per week with set days each week.
BLS Tiered Response System
RIGGS operates a tiered response system in Merced County. This is a huge step in EMS and an exciting opportunity for our EMTs to run Emergency BLS calls.

INNOVATION IN EMS
PRESENTED BY THE CALIFORNIA AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION
Innovation in EMS for the implementation of a Tiered-Response System for Merced County. This system allows the Emergency Communications Center to send the appropriate resources to all 9-1-1 requests.
RIGGS partners with more than 15 agencies across the county to provide 9-1-1 emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our team of experienced EMS professionals and caregivers work with cities, counties, fire departments, hospitals and government agencies to ensure that patients receive the best service with the highest level of patient care. SERVICES YOU CAN TRUST
PROFESSIONAL AND EFFECTIVE BILLING
We provide ambulance billing functions for several rural ambulance services. The ability to pay bills "on-line" is a benefit to both patients and organizations we service.
